Meet the Creators

Renee Christopher (Author) has an MFA in Creative Writing & Environment from Iowa State. Her fiction, poetry, and essays have been published in Fireside Fiction, Anathema Spec: Notes from the Margins and Noble Gas Quarterly. She is working on a YA fantasy novel and a poetry collection that both explore black girlhood and queerness.

Liliana Bilbao (Artist) was born in La Paz, Bolivia. A poet, teacher, and artist, she received her MA in Spanish Literature from Loyola University, and has been granted scholarships from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad Alcalá de Henares. She had a solo-show of art at Northwestern University, and has published nine books of poetry. She devotes much of her time to painting in oils and acrylics.
